Lousy Internet!!

Thanks to the lousi-ness of my wireless connection back in the hostel..I'm now officially stuck in this computer lab trying to do all the stuffs I wanted to...from downloading Youtube videos to searching for informations on my PBL topic to checking email (it's amazing how not getting online just for a few days can lead to an almost-exploding inbox) to browsing through the neverending Facebook and Friendster...I must have seemed evaporated from Earth...not to mention how long I haven't been signing-in into MSN...lolz...all I can do to keep in touch with mua frenz is via sms...aiks! Besides the lousy internet...my com kena virus last Wed...of all the virus I could have got I got Trojan virus -.-' and resulting me spending those few days burning and burning and burning the PILES of files in my com...used up to 24 blank DVDs...lolz...all burn double copies...terrifying huh~~ =p But anyway...now its fine already...bought my dear CPU all the way to the computer shop to reformat it...and completely changing it from Vista to Windows XP...FINALLY!!! I can't stand Vista keep on giving me unwanted problems...and Vista's too unstable to support each and every programmes...and that includes my wireless software...oh well...at least everything's fine now....

Okie le...one more month to go till finals...and I'm still not yet halfway through...sad case =( Exam date impossible to be post-poned....and I'm stuck with Malaysian Studies even after my finals...which I've decided to travel to-and-fro just to attend that 1day 3hours classes....GREAT~!!! BOO to Malaysian Studies!!! And there goes my end-of-year holiday.....

Dermatologist visit

Went to consult a dermatologist today about my skin problems that have been persisting for about 3months already...dad had given me lots of medicine to try to cure it but no use...and so last resort to visit the specialist...This Dr Chew was actually my Jap teacher's sis...and her clinic's right beside Institute Yeoh where I had my PA tuition during form6...Anyway...after consulting her...found out that I'm actually having a skin disease ==> Atopic Eczema...where i'm having sensitive skin problems...started out when I had that allergic towards metal....then it just got aggravated by sunlight, stress, fatigue and lack of sleep...and also the inheritance rate is very high...got it from my mum's side...my mum, my aunt and my grandmother all have skin problems....oh well....so now I've to apply medicine, eat antibiotics and antihistamines plus using special cleanser for bathing...and I'm not allowed to drink milk and eat nuts...not advisable to kena sunlight...so have to wear long sleeves or a sweated whenever I go out under the sunlight...haiz.....it has recovered alot already...but hopefully it'll heal faster la...I'm getting so bothered with this skin problem of mine...

Went for lunch with mum and dad at a restaurant near my housing area here....and suddenly mum popped out a question,

Mum: Hey, do you remember this restaurant's boss? He looked so much older already...Oh...and do you remember his son who's the same age as you...??
Me: Huh..?? Oh...HIM!!!
Then my mum got so excited once she knew I remembered that guy...
Mum: Ya ya....you remembered him right? I still remember that last time he liked you...

Mum: Yeah...I still remembered that...me and dad just came here the other day and we were mentioning about it and sure we had a good laugh about it....hahahaha...I wonder whether he still can recognise you...
Me: I guess not...its really had been too long already...I almost forgot about it if not for you to remind me....and guess I won't be able to recognise him la since I've forgotten how he looked like already...

And yeahh...I just remembered today that this guy...spectacled guy...Loh Yi Soon (I think it's spelled like that...never know...hahaha)...knew him through Mental Arithmatic class that I attended for years during my primary school days...talked to him not more than 10 times...and how I got to know that he liked me...?? Thanks to my dear niece who was his classmate...and somehow I think he told her and so she told me...but oh well...those are just puppy love...omigosh~~ We were just kiddos that time...and that's why I never really care about that much....at that time I was only concentrating on preparing myself for Arithmatic competitions where I won year by year....for 3years....I still remember that fatty who always got 2nd prize while I got 1st....hahahahaha....his frustrated look..LOLZ.....till the last year I competed...I got lazy that time and was also preparing for UPSR...so I got 2nd instead and he happily FINALLY got his 1st prize....poor guy =p

Moon River cafe, Kinta Riverfront

As I've mentioned in my previous post, this place is directly behind St Michael Institution of Ipoh...guess alot people still have no idea about this place's existence...but everyone should try it out la...althought the service's not too good...so the best thing is ==> try it out on a day where there won't be alot people going there too....lolz

Back in Ipoh....

Hehe...I'm back in Ipoh again!!! Just for one week...coz the seniors are having their 2nd Professional Exam...so we juniors unofficially have a study week lor...where most of us just run back to our hometown =D

Well...had a frustrating yet kind of interesting dinner today....had it at the Riverfront...the new hawker centre found beside the Kinta River...where later it'll develop into a place where there's condominiums and also a hotel...cool, nice place...BUT the service's really terrible...we've waited for more than one hour just waiting for four different kind of noodles and rice...and its not even Western food!!! At last...we only got 2 of them...other two no idea where they've gone to since they said they've prepared and sent it already o.O Wanted to just leave without paying...but our conscience don't let us do so...so while paying the boss got scolded by us instead...hahaha...That's for the frustrating part~~
The interesting part is that I met someone that I haven't meet since the last time I went back to AMC in form6....Ms Leong Lok Ping - my form5 class teacher!!! She was sitting at the table right beside mine with a guy...thought I might have got the wrong person at first...but somehow she turned her head towards my direction...and she had that I-know-who-you-are expression on her face...lolz...so I walked over to her table and talked to her awhile la...basically she only asked where and what I'm studying now and gave me support ^^ She's the same as usual....but more feminine already...and guess that's her boyfriend...they looked intimate....hahahaha...which I'm happy for her also la...she should get married la at this age...hehehe

So....eating only two bowls of noodles is just not enough...so we continue on to Kopitiam...lolz...my favourite place in Ipoh...and had some toasts and coffee =)


Ahh...Ipoh's the best...and KL's nothing compared to it.......

STRANDED!!!

1st thing and the funniest thing happened ever today...hahaha...me and my roommate didn't cook for lunch today coz we're both lazy plus not enough vegetables left in our supply...so had lunch in our cafeteria downstairs...then immediately after lunch we both decided to go straight to Giant to stock up our supply instead of walking up the stairs to our 4th floor...and pandai-nya...we both didn't think of bringing along our umbrellas coz it was really sunny...no sign of weather changing...and guess what..?? In the middle of our happy shopping...THUNDER!!! So in the end we got stranded in Giant =( Kept waiting for the rain to stop or at least recede...but it just got heavier...impossible to even run across the road...and luckily I suddenly thought of calling up Ze Shun and Dexter...Dexter didn't on his hp...but luckily Ze Shun called back...and he's sooooo nice~~ He drove to Giant and fetch me and my roommate!!! Soooo darn nice of him le...and even drove all the way up the slope to the Block D hostel and dropped us there ^^ Ok...great lesson learnt ==> MUST bring umbrella whenever we go out any further away from the uni!!!

Finally touching the piano...

Had the mood to accompany my roommate to the music practice rooms tonight...brought along my exam piano pieces and also the Yellow River double piano piece...at first it was quite difficult to play the pieces...its been too long since I've touched the piano...especially to play my LLCM exam pieces...but I got the hang of it after a few times playing them...Oh...and I finally realised that I really can't stand electric guitars...in conclusion I still prefer acoustic guitars to electric guitars...there's a whole bunch of guys jamming in their jamming practice room just now...urgh!! Just cant stand....Oh...the other thing...the pianos in the practice rooms seriously really need piano tuning...and although I prefer Kawai pianos to Yamaha's...these pianos either are out of tunes...which give me the goosebumps...that's the cons of being perfect pitch...or the loudness is so different from note to note...especially the piano I played on just now...the higher range from the middle C is obviously louder than the lower range...so its noisy when I played Mendelssohn's...horrible~~ But on the whole I really miss music...classical music.....

Clinical skills session on respiratory system

Had clinical skills session on checking the respiratory system these two weeks...had so much fun where we had Vallabhai last week and Reddy this week....they're both great in giving us so much information....learnt alot! And I finally realised that I'm really getting thinner...my whole throat can actually be easily seen...especially the larynx part...from the hyoid bone to the thyroid cartilage to the cricothyroid membrane to the cricoid cartilage down to the trachea...and the most abnormal thing is I've Adam's apple same as the guys...but not as prominent la...guess not much people noticed that...lolz....so like Yu Leong he was shocked...hahaha...

Time is passing on slowly and its getting nearer to the finals....haiz~~ S-T-R-E-S-S!!!

Coffee night...

Drinking coffee again to study through the night...had a 3-hours afternoon nap already coz hasn't been sleeping well for the past few days...had nightmares...especially that night after finish reading the very-gross-storyline chinese novel...urgh~~ One more month...few more weeks to go and there goes my 2nd sem and also my 1st year of medic...but ALOT more to study for my finals le...haiz...well...at least I've one whole week of study week next week...so gonna carry the hell lots of books back to Ipoh...already started on them but keep having the stress that I don't have enough time....just pray pray pray hard that I'll pass my finals to get to my 2nd year...I certainly don't want to repeat nor would I want to get kicked out after dumping the hell lot of money in studying here...haiz......stress stress stress~~

Seronoknya~~ Dah terlalu lama aku tak balik ke rumahku yang ku dah lama inginkan...sejak Tahun Baru Cina...kalau aku tak balik sekarang...dah tak ada peluang lagi kerana ujian akhir tahun dah semakin mendekatiku...Esok ada ujian kecil lagi...dan untuk setiap minggu...ahh....semakin sesak nafasku untuk melalui semua ini...tension-nya...terlalu banyak benda untuk belajar...terlalu banyak benda untuk aku terus pelajari....pepatah Ilmu tanpa batas memang sesuai untuk seorang pelajar universiti sepertiku.....

Meeting up with an old friend...

Wasnt planning to go to pasar malam tonight coz heard from the radio station that the My FM crews will be coming here...with the TV crews too...so might as well not appear in such a big crowd...but then a sms from Ah Ong at around 6 something saying that she's coming to our pasar malam here made me changed my clothes and walked down to meet up with her...Its been such a loonnngggg time since we've last met...almost one year from what she said...which I think its quite true...

Oh well...she didn't change much...at least didn't get anymore thinner than she is already...and she seriously looked better with her short hair compared to her curly hairstyle before this...We chatted quite a while...walked till the end of the pasar malam....too bad I've to leave already before it gets too dark since I'll be walking back to my hostel alone...and also because me and Ying Hui needs to cook for our dinner...but we managed to take some pics with Ah Ong's camera phone...yupzz...in the middle of the road!! LOL =p And I managed to buy back the bubble milk tea that both me and Ying Hui loves....wakekeke...we ONLY love chocolate flavour....

Euwww....those residents on my floor are really disgusting and they don't have brains I guess...me and Y.H were in the pantry preparing for our dinner just now...and a Chinese girl I think just walked in....and put in a porcelain plate with a chicken drumstick AND a plastic container with the plastic bag still wrapping around it into the M-I-C-R-O-W-A-V-E!!!! OMG~~!!! I don't understand how can these people stand eating these stuffs...1st the microwave is already quite dangerous with all those radioactive stuffs already....and now putting plastics into the microwave makes it even worse...!!! And now the pantry's fill with chemical smell....euwwwww~~~

Started with a bad morning with Moral Studies midterm exam...studied alot on it..but ended me wondering why I'd studied so much on it....the notes are practically useless...lucky I understood those stupid moral theories..and with my English...somehow survived through it la...just hoping now I won't fail this stupid paper *fingers crossed*

Afternoon is kind of O.K....with clinical skills session went on fine without the lecturer pin-pointing at me...probably coz he's scared of me already...lolz...not my fault though...It was due to an incident happened during PBL yesterday...he was asking me a question when at the same time I was actually feeling sleepy so water (I supposed they can be also known as tears) start to accumulate in my eyes...so he thought I was going to cry just because he was asking me a question...and started to console me...making me sooo blur at 1st at his change of attitude -.-'' Guess I've given him a wrong impression that I'm those kind that will cry if the lecturer pinpoints me...duh~~

Evening went to a second hand piano store in PJ with sis to check out some great grand pianos...especially those 9-footers ones...which are REALLY cool~~ ^^ Then went on with movies...watched Love Matters...which we considered it as a stupid movie...although the famous My FM's DJ is also starring in it...but their mandarin and cantonese and english is just so so so Malaysian...ish!! Anyone who's practising their English better not go in....they'll only teach you the bad things ==> Manglish!!! (Manglish = Malaysian English)

After the movies..we went for dinner...and that's when it happens again...my sis got the phone call and we kind of expected what's coming for us...got soooo moody after that that both of us just ate through without another word...haiz......why is this happening when we thought everything's fine already...?? I'm getting soooo sick of it already!!!

FREAKY!!!!!!

Oh my goodness...!! I didn't know that there's actually more girls who are control freaks over their boyfriends...!! Including the most unexpected person...a girl who I've known since I'm in standard 1...everyone's 1st impression on her is that she's a sweet, small sized girl who'll do no one harm...UNBELIEVABLE!!! Oh well...maybe because before she and her boyfriend become an item....I've always chatted with her boyfriend...went out with him alot of times too with other friends...only as normal friends....so now...she has a grudge on me for whatever reason (ouch!!)...not even her boyfriend knows what the reason is...and she totally CONTROLS over her boyfriend....pathetic~~ She won't let him talk to any of his girl pals...even forced him to delete the girl pals he has added on Friendster and Facebook....oh...and she'll sometimes on his msn to check on him....walao ehhh~~~ So now her bf has warned me about it...and luckily he still treats me as a friend instead of some friend of mine who'll rather ask me to lay off him just because he got a girlfriend...BIG DEAL~~ I really detest control freaks...no matter the person's a girl or a guy....it just doesn't make sense....Feeling insecured over your partner doesn't give you a good reason to do so...everyone has their own life....their own friends...its not like your bf only has YOU!!! GET A GRIP GIRL~~ If you're feeling soooo insecured about your boyfriend...I think its time that you get on on your own and let your boyfriend go...go find someone else that you really trust and get married for all I care...just don't create a suffocating world for him...I can understand how he feels coz I've experienced that once....and that once...has taught me a big lesson.....

3rd Clinical Skills Session

The previous clinical we had practice on measuring heart beats...and today we had a new topic instead ==> learning how to measure blood pressure Luckily dad taught me a few stuffs about how to do so before...so I'm quite a fast learner....hehehehe...I had a normal blood pressure btw...Anyway...just realised besides GM...KRS also kinda terrifying..especially his actions towards the girls....eeyerrrrr~~~ If I've the chance....I'll surely report that....hmm...maybe once before my graduation....lol...so that they wont be able to affect me much ;p
