Time Machine

There were explosions and sounds of gunfires haunting the hearts of residents of the once thought to be peaceful and native state of Sarawak. Situated to the north western region of the 3rd largest island documented even since the history of mankind. It all happened in the mid December of year 1941 at a small little town that lies to the northern border of Sarawak.

Never in the long dated history of Sarawak has her people seen this massive and aggressiveness of another foreign nation that set her feet thousands of miles away in the land of rising sun. Her inhabitants were thought to be naive, self-sustaining “petani” and some who reside on the lower plains earned their living as fishermen. They have nothing in mind other than a simple desire to live their own ways of live on their land of origin, the very wish of any villagers in Sarawak, be it self-sustaining or the rich who managed to work under the British in some freshly introduced sectors. This dream was shattered into pieces by the arrival of Japanese bombers and infantries.

Heavy weapons and vehicles were mostly involved in the Battle of Borneo that started with the landing of Japanese on the west coast of Miri. It all happened so rapidly as they were well-known with their military superiority.

Never did anyone ever think of what had happened in the Western part of our globe that remakes Sarawak and consequently Malaysia today. Many big events had happened since the Japanese declared their policy and aim of “Asia for Asians”, and the bombing of Pearl Harbour in Hawaii shifted human into their underground shelter. The pride of mankind, United States’ military base situated in that hideaway island was left to ruins in a matter of seconds.

It was during the years after the Industrial Revolution started its foot in British, an economically wealthy country who declared many of her colonial areas in many parts of the world. It was an invention beyond the intelligence of man, it was rumored to be adopted from a spaceship that had lost its way on planet blue. There were nothing recovered by the English on that ship, but there was a peculiar looking cascade found in the core of that ship, which was renamed “The Lost Core” by scientists at that century and time. It was simply thought to be an artifact until 2012, when a group of engineers exposed its technology. Proposed by 20th century genius, Albert Einstein, in one of his workdays but it was lesser than just a blueprint. It was thought to be more of a point of laughter than the genius within. The core was founded, retrieved and renamed “Time Machine” by engineers Ben, Mike, Eve, L J and Yong.

The first announcement of the Time Machine caught its attention across the great Pacific in the US President’s office and Pentagon. The team was sued to court by the government of Billy Obama. Shifting the ‘Dream Team’ to US is the first step of the Americans to confiscate that technology from the later known England. Obama’s intention of using it to re-establish America’s position as the pride of humans overrode his humble government and definitely ensuring the slogan ‘Change we can believe in’.

Headed by Ben, the Dream team’s was summoned to work for the Pentagon. Accomplish something that was impossible before and now toward possible. Authorities of the Pentagon issue the mission of teleporting Ben and his team together with the US secretary of defense, Robbin Gates to Pearl Harbour, Hawaii. This is to post a warning to the military leaders about the incoming attack on 8 December 1941.

Preparations were made again and again, rechecked departments after sectors, until not even a slightest mistake will occur which could have threatened the minster and of course the machine. Flashes and sparks blinded everyone near to the teleporter hidden underground of the Mississippi waterfall. Radiators were tested to their maximum limits, rays of unknown wavelengths and signals of frequencies beyond widthband of signals received from every station around the blue planet, all of a sudden Mississippi became the brightest spot on the planet.

Moments later, no one survived to tell how long it was after the teleportation of the fives, Mississippi waterfall which stood proudly became a dried up crater. Water organisms found later are documented as size of the flora and fauna founded by archeologists from the Jurassic World millions of years ago. Just seconds before the first ever attempted teleportation was to be completed, a tiny cockroach which skipped the eyes of hundreds got into the main core generator that is used as the sole power supply of the time machine. Radiations from the process were believed to have distorted the size of those tiny feelers of the poor little animal. The enlarged feelers make their way to the center cable to the machine, changing the initial settings of the teleport location to the tail of Borneo Island, a town populated by the British governors and the natives of Sarawak, Kuching.

Outing!

Went out with Jee Wei and Diana again. The mission this time? Is to get the very late bday present for Diana. LOL. We've reached an agreement that between us 3 we'll get the bday present that others want. That's why we went all the way to Midvalley to see what D wants. After browsing through the various shops of shoes and female accesories, where my feet gets more and more sore and painful by the minute (thanks to my shoes + flat-footed effect!) AND also the very disturbing growling sound of my stomach..we finally came to those small stalls at the most top floor. There's this brand ==> PetShop..which is a Japanese-made stuffs (its written there) where all the products are made of 100% cotton. The design's cute...but the price's even "cute" @_@ The purses and sling bags really caught my eye..but not in the mood to get one. So only concentrated on getting a nice purse for D. The purse costs 40bucks. But since we've agreed that the maximum budget per person is 20bucks..so its just right! =) Mission ACCOMPLISHED!!!

Went to Jusco supermarket to do some shopping. Had lunch at McD. Too full to finish the Chocolate Sundae so I took it back to hostel instead. Once I reached hostel, used 5mins to change into sports attire and go off to play badminton with my gang at Angkasa condo. LOL. Played for almost 2hours. And I love it! ^^ Went back to hostel and bathe and change and I go off to watch Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief with sis. LOL. Only reached hostel at 10pm where we even had supper after the movie. =p Came back to hostel and ended up playing UNO with others till 12am. Conclusion: I wasted my whole day out of my room! And without studying *dash underscore dash*

1st thing to do back in hostel ==> blog!

Once again. I'M BACK IN THE HOSTEL!!!!! And that's soooo not fun *sad face* Who would love to leave the comfy house and come to this where it means everyday, every minute of studying, studying AND studying??? Especially when I got my most recent M.A's results...I knew enough that I certainly got affected. Again. Yikes! No more procrastination. No more night-outings for supper (certainly NOT after those few days of spending on top of the toilet seat *urgh!*). AND certainly no more mind wandering away anymore. Finals coming soon. V.E.R.Y soon.

CNY 2010

Spent the 1st 3days of CNY in Lake Kenyir with family (as usual we're out of the house before CNY has even started....every year...) Nice trip!! Although its such an...err....isolated place where we're in need to search everywhere for some decent food (the dinner in the resort costs us 45bucks per person!!! *dash underscore dash*) and resulted in us to go all the way to the next town which is about 1hour away JUST for breakfast. (nasi dagang = Terengganu's specialty...YUMMY!!!) Plus it took us almost 5hours just to get to the resort..and also with the help with the brilliant GPS system my mum got from her insurance agency coz of her high production (Its FREE!!!!!) But the boat tour around the Lake Kenyir and the visits to the waterfall and the herbal garden are quite worth it =) And on the last day, on the way back..we even managed to go up to Cameron Highlands to buy vegetables and have dinner before heading back home.

On Wednesday night, had the most scary nauseous feeling midway during dinner. A tempting Japanese food with bento sets cant even relieve me of that nauseous feeling. Urgh. Unbelievable that I can even iron the 5-days tons of clothes plus washing up the dishes. Even vomited part of the dinner. Double urgh. Then the diarrhea part came. I just have to frequently run to the toilet and practically spent the whole night on top of the toilet seat. Didn't even have a good night's sleep. Even woke up at 3am to vomit the remaining parts of my dinner. Had a can of 100plus to replenish my dehydrating body. And spent the whole morning sleeping to brush away the discomfort of my stomach. Didn't even have much for breakfast and lunch (even vomited my breakfast). Dad and mum cooked porridge for my dinner. Broke my record to sleep at 9pm yesterday. Although got mum's grumbling in my ears, but the sleepiness overtook me and to bed I go to. Slept for 10hours straight. Woke up OK but still not much appetite. Bet I'll get thin in no time without much effort. LOL. Though I would hate to go through such a thing. Ever again.

Symbol of Medicine

The rod of Asclepius (sometimes also spelled Asklepios or Aesculapius), also known as the asklepian, is an ancient symbol associated with astrology, the Greek god Asclepius and with medicine and healing. It consists of a serpent entwined around a staff. The name of the symbol derives from its early and widespread association with Asclepius, the son of Apollo, who was a practitioner of medicine in ancient Greek mythology. His attributes, the snake and the staff, sometimes depicted separately in antiquity, are combined in this symbol. The Rod of Asclepius also represents the constellation Ophiuchus (or Ophiuchus Serpentarius), the thirteenth sign of the sidereal zodiac. Hippocrates himself was a worshipper of Asclepius.

The serpent and the staff appear to have been separate symbols that were combined at some point in the development of the Asclepian cult. The significance of the serpent has been interpreted in many ways; sometimes the shedding of skin and renewal is emphasized as symbolizing rejuvenation, while other assessments center on the serpent as a symbol that unites and expresses the dual nature of the work of the physician, who deals with life and death, sickness and health. The ambiguity of the serpent as a symbol, and the contradictions it is thought to represent, reflect the ambiguity of the use of drugs, which can help or harm, as reflected in the meaning of the term pharmakon, which meant "drug", "medicine" and "poison" in ancient Greek; we know that today antidotes and vaccines are often compounded from precisely the thing that caused the poisoning or illness. Products deriving from the bodies of snakes were known to have medicinal properties in ancient times, and in ancient Greece, at least some were aware that snake venom that might be fatal if it entered the bloodstream could often be imbibed. Snake venom appears to have been 'prescribed' in some cases as a form of therapy.
The staff has also been variously interpreted. One view is that it, like the serpent, "conveyed notions of resurrection and healing", while another (not necessarily incompatible) is that the staff was a walking stick associated with itinerant physicians. Cornutus, a philosopher probably active in the first century CE, in the Theologiae Graecae Compendium (Ch. 33) offers a view of the significance of both snake and staff that is worth quoting at length:
Asclepius derived his name from healing soothingly and from deferring the withering that comes with death. For this reason, therefore, they give him a serpent as an attribute, indicating that those who avail themselves of medical science undergo a process similar to the serpent in that they, as it were, grow young again after illnesses and slough off old age; also because the serpent is a sign of attention, much of which is required in medical treatments. The staff also seems to be a symbol of some similar thing. For by means of this it is set before our minds that unless we are supported by such inventions as these, in so far as falling continually into sickness is concerned, stumbling along we would fall even sooner than necessary.
In any case the two symbols certainly merged in antiquity as representations of the snake coiled about the staff are common. It has been claimed that the snake wrapped around the staff was a species of rat snake, Elaphe longissima

Dedicated to YOU =)

What I Wanted to Say - Colbie Caillat

Lyrics:
I should've done something,
Again I did nothing. Watched us seperate
What should I do now?
Run and chase you down?
I can't hesitate

Cuz all I wanted to say was something real
All I want you to know is how I feel
All I wanted to give was my heart
But I'm stuck here at the start

It's on the tip of my tongue, but im still afraid
Sometimes the only things words do is get in the way
Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest to say
But I don't wanna lose you, drive you away
Don't wanna confuse you, I need you to stay
Only wish you knew what I wanted to say
Only wish you knew what I wanted to say

My hands are shaking
I'm yours for the taking
Don't you hesistate
Please just do one thing
One small sign, something
Let's jump off the edge

Cuz all I want you to say is something real
All I wanted to know is how you feel
All I want you to give is your heart
But we're stuck here at a start

It's on the tip of my tongue, but im still afraid
Sometimes the only things words do is get in the way
Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest to say
But I don't wanna lose you, drive you away
Don't wanna confuse you, I need you to stay
Only wish you knew what I wanted to say
Only wish you knew what I wanted to say

It's on the tip of my tongue, but im still afraid
Sometimes the only things words do is get in the way
Sometimes the easiest things are the hardest to say
But I don't wanna lose you

I don't wanna lose you
No, I don't wanna lose you
No, I don't wanna lose youuuuu
No No

I should've done something
I should've done something
I should've done something, but I never wanted to (x2)

I dont wanna lose you, drive you away
I dont wanna lose you

Only wish you knew what I wanted to say
Oh, I don't wanna lose youuuuu
No, No

I should've done something
I should've done something
I should've done something, but I never wanted to (x2)

say....what I wanted to say (repeat and fade til the end)

MUM'S COMING!!!

In less than 12hours, mum with my foster mum with another colleague of theirs would be arriving in KL. *BIG smiles* Somehow, I'm glad M.A's not on tomorrow. Else I wouldn't have been able to sleep after what happened tonight. Or maybe not. Tired. Spent 2 consecutive nights sleeping at 4am and waking up at 7 something. @_@ YET I'm still blogging here. LOL. I'm hungry! Heating up the roasted pork which is leftover since...err.....few weeks back? OK...its unhealthy...but what other choices I have? Blerkz.

Looking forward to mum's arrival tomorrow. I wonder how she'll react when she sees that Bonita bag she's been yearning for since the time she saw mine and wanted to buy it that time. Hope she really likes it. Just nice for her to bring along for the Korea trip with dad. =)

Too bad I cant stay overnight at her room tomorrow. Still have to prepare for stupid M.A on Tues! And nahhhh....not going to persuade her letting me do so....coz I'll most probably spend the time watch tv, talk crap with mum and sis, go and swim in the Jacuzzi, SLEEP, etc....rather than studying...LOL. Better to just shut myself in the hostel. >.<

Astrological Compatibility - Sagittarius with Libra

Libra is stimulated by Sagittarius's eagerness for adventure, and Sagittarius is drawn to Libra's affectionate charm. Both are highly romantic, though this quality is more dominant in Libra. Libra will want to settle down before flighty Sagittarius does, but they can work that out. Charming, clever Libra knows how to appeal to Sagittarius's intellectual side and easily keeps Sagittarius intrigued. This pairing should develop into a fun-filled, free, delightful relationship.

More About SAGITTARIUS And LIBRA:
Optimistic, Freedom-Loving, Jovial, Good-Humored, Honest, Straightforward, Intellectual and Philosophical Diplomaitic, Urbane, Romantic, Charming, Easygoing, Sociable, Idealistic and Peaceable Blindly Optimistic, Careless, Irresponsible, Superficial, Tactless and Restless Indecisive, Changeable, Gullible, Easily Infuenced, Flirtatious and Self-Indulgent

While Sagittarians are the nomads of the Zodiac, they do not wander aimlessly. They are seekers of the truth and will go anywhere and talk to anyone for answers to their questions. Knowledge and wisdom drive them and provide the energy for their liberal approach to life. Sagittarians are drawn to the philosophical and spiritual because these subjects provide answers to the questions that burn inside them.

Sagittarians are the intellectuals of the Zodiac. They are lucid thinkers who appreciate others agreeing with their conclusions. Sometimes they are so confident their deductions are beyond dispute they become dogmatic and argumentative. Still, the Sagittarian quest for information drives them to listen to anyone and absorb what they find useful and quickly disregard the rest.

It is the nature of Sagittarians to roam freely. If they feel intellectually or physically restricted they may become bad-tempered very quickly. When Sagittarians are given the freedom they need they are kind, optimistic, lucky and not afraid of taking an occasional risk. They are also a charming lot who can be self-indulgent procrastinators. Overall, Sagittarians allowed the freedom they need are a delight to be around. Librans are the Zodiac's seekers of balance, harmony and justice. Librans do best when paired up with others. They do not really care to be alone. Those they pair with can count on them to be fair and avoid conflict if possible.

Often Libras may seem a bit indecisive. This is because in their efforts to be fair they must study every angle of a situation before making a decision. They really are out to do what is best for all. Libras are master strategists and organizers. Librans are friendly, sociable and can charm anyone who engages them in conversation. When bored they quickly become lethargic and may need those around them to supply the spark to get them back on track.

Librans love to know everything about the people around them. They are always diplomatic and not averse to compromise--particularly if it will avoid discord. While Librans may not be team leaders, they can be counted on to plan any project's steps well. Their sense of fairness will also help lessen the number of conflicts that arise between project members. Libra's great gift to us all is we can trust them to be unbiased in their decisions at all times.

The Sagitarian In Love:
Sagittarians love any new form of sexual expression that challenges and excites them. Both tolerant and eager to please, their honesty can sometimes prove too much for those who prefer a more mysterious, or veiled approach to love.

Sagittarians are best involved with a steadier, stronger personality, who can understand their need for independence, yet still be there after an occasional flair of temper. Their frank and open motives are often misunderstood, threatening to more subdued signs.

Although they hate to be tied down, they are willing to experiment with all manner of relationship styles. As long as their partner is able to keep up with their wide-ranging interests and is prepared to come up with new experiments in lovemaking (and certainly does not mind them doing the same), their relationship will be exciting and reasonably long lasting. Mutual honesty is the key to success for the Sagittarian.

The Libra In Love:
Librans love the home and marriage. Time with their lover and family makes them feel complete. To a large extent their love relationship will become their identity. Libras can be very sensual and eager to explore both the spiritual and physical limits of their relationships.

Shaping their relationship and creating entrancing moments is where the Libra focuses its creativity. Their ultimate goal is pleasure and harmony. Libras prefer to be the pursued, rather than pursue. The more attention their mate pours upon them, the happier they will be.

Librans are best involved with a special person who understands their need for romance and their search for the perfect environment. They are co-operative, imaginative and willing to experiment with all manner of relationship styles. The happy Libra is one whose relationship is not simply a coupling, but the joining of two people to go through life as one.
Now I'm missing last night. Or should be yesterday early morning. Haha. The quietness of the cafeteria is just something so unusual. Guess the guards must have think we're weird. LOL. But not something to be practised everyday. I hate panda eyes! >.<

Happy happy ^^

YAY! Mum's coming tomorrow!! (Its 12.30am now, Thurs) Although I won't be able to stay overnight at her hotel room (BOO to postponed M.A!), but its happy enough that am able to see mummy! Too bad dad's not coming though *sad sad face* Its been too long since I'm home. But going back home next Fri *BIG smiles* Am looking forward to it. Will be starting off from campus together with mike too to the ktm station. He'll be going onto the KLIA express while me onto the ktm to KL Sentral. *BIGGER smiles* Then we'll be meeting up at the ktm station again after the 1-week CNY holiday. Same time to reach again. Hehe.

CNY plans: Off holiday-ing with family at Lake Kenyir, Terengganu. 3days 2nights. LOVELY~ Followed by the annual dinner gathering with my relatives on dad's side. Probably having it this time in my eldest uncle's new house. (Duh~!) Then back to home where we'll start collecting angpows from relatives and friends. LOL.

Change of weather

First heavy rain instead of the usual irritating drizzling. Umbrellas up in the air. No more hot stuffy weather. No more profuse sweating. No more sticky clothes sticking to the body. Urgh. And yet the night market is stuffed with people as usual. Not forgetting to drop by into the pet shop on the way to get mike's fruit cake. =) Cute doggies!! (Siberian husky, toy poodle, Shih Tzu, Rottweiler, Terriers, Pug, Labrador) Funny that the salesgirl asked us which dog we want to buy. LOL. We don't exactly look that rich and sure we look more like students. *dash underscore dash*

PBL. AGAIN. GAH! And OB wants us to do every topic? *neck strangling* (how I wish I could skip tomorrow's session!)

The moon looks as horrible as the last few nights. Fiery orangy-red instead of the usual bright yellow. HUGE and round too. And with the presence of the prominently seen Mars beside it? How unusual. Not to mention also the scary-looking sun which can only be seen its horrible-ness in the evening. Fiery orange almost red and HUGE round one. Its now seen in the north-west in the evening instead of the supposedly usual west side. Creepy~ Wondering what's wrong with our dear earth now.

Probably the change of weather also contributes to the foul mood he's having. Unusual enough.

Late night sleep + long hours classes

Had the most long hours of classes today. Imagine this: 4hours of classes + 1hour of seminar + only almost 3hours of sleep = swollen puffy eyes @_@ Thanks to some guy! Blerkz~ Some guy who's sick for the whole day...fever every 6hours...and yet soooo energetic at night till he cant sleep..and thus we ended up in the cafeteria. Supposedly to chat...but who can do that when I carried my textbook down too? =p So...went down around 1am sth...and came back to my room around 4am. Woke up this morning around 8am by his morning call. Drag myself down to the classroom and spent drowsy morning listening to pharmacology (urgh! Boring lecturer...) then seminar by my own classmates, followed by lectures on Circulatory Shock + Peripheral Artery Disease in the afternoon. Just imagine that. Unbelievable day. And I still have my PBL to do today + have to finish Q&A by Friday. AND I'm still procrastinating. >.<

Modular Assessment's on next Tuesday. *yikes*

Finals in a few weeks time. *DOUBLE yikes*

I'm still under slow progression. *TRIPLE yikes*

anymore QUADRUPLE yikes? =p

只为了对方而存在的我们 ---- 摘自于“下一站幸福” 第18集
(好经典的一句话哦!真想知道写剧本的人是谁 ^^)

Late at night blogging

Just finish writing my first ever meeting minute and the meeting agenda for the upcoming committee meeting which will be held on Tuesday after PBL. Oh well...not bad for the 1st job I guess....LOL =p And after writing it, just don't have the studying mood...lolz...so proceed to watching drama! (There goes procrastination! blerkz) Till now...still waiting for the youtube videos to load...GAH! Must be someone doing some massive movie downloading or some sort...the line just got soooo slow suddenly *frustrated* Anyway...tomorrow's public holiday (Federal Territory Day for KL)..so NO CLASS!!!!!! *grins* Meaning sleepless night + wake up late is OK *BIG smiles*

p.s Why do I always make people unhappy with my actions, even tiny little actions? I know, rejection could bring so much disappointment. But fear outweighs everything. And as I said before, I seriously hate seeing the hurt, disappointed look in you. No matter what reasons you gave me. Haiz....I hate hurting people who are close to me~ All I wanna say its I'm sorry.
